Jump&Lock is a technology platform operated by Hills Holdings LLC ("Company," "we," "us") that connects stranded motorists ("Customers") with independent 1099 contractors ("Vendors") who provide light-duty roadside assistance services in the Salem, Oregon area (Marion and Polk Counties).
Jump&Lock is a marketplace and technology intermediary only. We do not employ Vendors, and we do not directly perform roadside services.
The platform facilitates the following services performed by independent Vendors:
Jump&Lock does not offer towing, mechanical repair, or any service not listed above.
All service pricing is displayed transparently before you confirm a booking. Pricing consists of a base service fee plus a per-mile surcharge based on the driving distance from the Vendor's location to yours.
When you confirm a booking, your payment method is placed on an authorization hold — your card is not charged until the Vendor completes the job and submits a completion photo. If no Vendor accepts your request, the hold is released automatically.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Hills Holdings LLC is the merchant of record.
You may cancel at any time before a Vendor accepts your job at no charge. If you cancel after a Vendor has accepted your request and is en route, a $25.00 non-refundable cancellation fee will be charged to your payment method. This fee is paid directly to the Vendor to compensate for their time and fuel.
All Vendors on the Jump&Lock platform are independent 1099 contractors, not employees of Hills Holdings LLC. Jump&Lock does not control the methods by which Vendors perform services. Jump&Lock's role is limited to connecting parties and facilitating payment.
Vendors are required to maintain appropriate tools, a valid Oregon driver's license, and adequate insurance. Jump&Lock conducts equipment verification during onboarding but makes no guarantee of Vendor qualifications beyond platform compliance requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law, Hills Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or services rendered by independent Vendors. Our total liability to any Customer for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
Jump&Lock is not responsible for pre-existing vehicle damage. Vendors are required to photograph vehicles upon arrival to document pre-existing conditions.

After job completion you may submit a star rating and written review of your Vendor. Reviews must be honest and based on your actual experience. Jump&Lock reserves the right to remove reviews that contain false information, harassment, or inappropriate content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in Marion County, Oregon.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
